Meet Jess Surgical Team: Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists
Jessica received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from SDSU in 2003. After practicing as an RN in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit, and Intensive Care Unit, she earned a Master of Science degree from Mount Marty College, School of Anesthesia in 2011. Jessica takes pride in providing care to patients of all ages but has always been passionate about the pediatric population. She enjoys building rapport with patients and families, putting children’s worries at ease, and telling any joke involving a pun.
Jessica grew up in Rapid City. She and her husband Vance have four children. She enjoys skiing, running, biking, music, and spending time with her family. She feels blessed to be a part of the WDSC team and strives to provide quality care to her patients every day.
Meet Bri Surgical Team: Registered Nurse
Briana was born and raised in Rapid City. After graduating from SDSU in the nursing program she worked at the hospital in the ICU. With years of pediatric nursing experience, she realized she loved working with kids! This took her to work at pediatric surgery centers. Most of her time is spent wrangling her own three children! Briana loves spending time with her family outdoors, biking, climbing, skiing. Briana has a huge, sweet tooth, and loves popcorn…with extra butter.
Meet Amanda Surgical Team: Registered Nurse
Born and raised in Rapid City, Amanda is no stranger to the Black Hills! After attending Rapid City Central High School and graduating in 2008, Amanda graduated from the USD Nursing program in May of 2013! With 6 years of pediatric nursing experience in the hospital setting, Amanda took a break from nursing, to focus on being a mom to her two beautiful little daughters!
While blessed to have been able to be with her kiddos full time, Amanda has always loved working with our littlest population of patients, which brought her to WDSC!
